Privacy Policy

Order & Grace Home respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Last updated: September 2026.

Who we are

Order & Grace Home ("we", "us", "our") provides professional decluttering and home organisation services across Berkshire, Oxfordshire and West London. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

You can contact us at any time about your data: info@orderandgracehome.co.uk or 07580 985606.

What personal data we collect

  • Contact details — your name, email address, phone number and home address, when you enquire, book or use our services.
  • Booking information — the service you choose, your preferred date and time, and notes you share about your home or project.
  • Correspondence — emails, messages and call notes relating to your enquiry or booking.
  • Photographs — only with your explicit consent, for example before-and-after images of your space.

We do not knowingly collect special category data. If you choose to share information about your health or personal circumstances (for example, when booking our neurodivergent-friendly organising service), we treat it with strict confidentiality and use it only to tailor our service to you.

How we use your data and our lawful bases

  • To provide our services — responding to enquiries, arranging discovery calls, confirming bookings and delivering sessions. Lawful basis: contract.
  • To manage payments and records — invoicing and keeping accounts as required by law. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
  • To stay in touch — occasional follow-ups about your booking or service. Lawful basis: legitimate interest. We will only send marketing communications with your consent, and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share your data with

We never sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary to run our business — for example with our website and booking platform provider, email service, and our insurer (Westminster Insurance) in the event of a claim. Any third party we use processes your data only on our instructions and in line with data protection law.

How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry and booking records for up to 6 years to meet our tax, accounting and insurance obligations, after which they are securely deleted. If you enquire but do not book, we delete your details within 12 months unless you ask us to keep in touch. Photographs are kept only while we have your consent.

How we protect your data

Your data is stored securely using password-protected, access-controlled systems. We limit access to those who need it to provide your service, and we handle all client information with the discretion our work in your home demands.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Ask us to delete your data ("the right to be forgotten");
  • Restrict or object to how we process your data;
  • Data portability — receive your data in a usable format;
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@orderandgracehome.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

Cookies

Our website uses only the essential cookies needed for the booking system to function securely. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can put things right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page, with the date of the most recent update shown at the top.
